Zinnia Jones’ brilliant response to someone who asked something along the lines of “what’s the difference between transsexualism and a person deciding to identify as a dolphin?”. I’ve noticed a lot of similar analogies - all who conveniently forget the genetic causes of transsexualism.

Even if transsexualism did have a biological basis, I would still call for it’s abolition.  Rather than pumping the body with artificial hormones and hacking up perfectly healthy organs, it would be necessary to develop ways to treat, cure, and prevent transsexualism.

… Dude. You realize you sound like the people who have, in the past, said the same things about “curing” and “preventing” homosexuality, left-handedness, and other “abnormal” behaviors and “mental illnesses” that are now largely accepted as normal by sane people, right?
